Advocacy in Agricultural Education

The purpose of the Advocacy in Agricultural Education committee is to provide insight and recommendations on opportunities to effectively influence agricultural education through promotion, communication, and policy.

Committee Focus

Accomplish the 2024 NCATA Legislative Goals, as outlined by the Legislative Committee (Fund NC FFA Center Expansions), by the commencement of the 2024 NC General Assembly short Session.
Continue a strong advocacy program with the North Carolina General Assembly and U.S. Congress to promote agricultural education/FFA concerns and issues.
Encourage separate visits and public media opportunities with Legislators
