Recruitment, retention and Recognition

The purpose of the Teacher RRR committee is to provide insight and recommendations on topics and initiatives related to attracting, engaging, supporting, and celebrating agricultural education professionals.

Committee Focus

• Identify several NCATA members willing to serve as site administrators for NC Owls Facebook page to help with organization of resources.

• Manage website to better maintain all relevant NCATA information and ability for members to submit membership information and pay dues online. 

• Serve as site administrators for social media sites for NC Agriculture Teachers Association (NCATA) and NC Owls Facebook page.

• Collect and share stories (videos, social media post, posters) from current teachers to insipre future educators

• Collaborate with mentorship programs to get teachers involved in teaching or FFA leadership pathways.

• Provide teachers with practical strategies, templates, and reminders for managing time, preventing burnout, and caring for themselves.
